    Default Another Helix DI question

I now have a Helix 9 SI 3GN on console and love it. Finding laydowns are a dream come true. I have an old gen 1 helix 7 up front. Want to upgrade to a dedicated DI 7 or 8 inch Di. Question I see 8 inch has twice the power but same transducer. Does more power go to transducer for a better pic? I Like the preset views on 8 inch and more power to the transducer would be nice and might push me over to get the 8 inch. I will use unit for up front brush pile fishing or finding fish on points. Thanks for your insight.

HELIX 8 MEGA DI does have more output power than HELIX 7 MEGA DI but that equates more to range than it does to detail ...

    Thanks Rickie.
I got Helix 7 G3DI for $479. 8 inch Gen3 di was $899. Since I am only using it for over brushpiles no deeper than 40 foot thought I save $400 dollars. Gonna enjoy the dedicated Piezo for DI.
