I was hoping I could get everyone’s opinion on a wiring question I have. I just purchased a livescope and a 93sv. Since they both need to have their own power source and my boat is limited on space I have decided to run a single power and ground cable from the back of my boat battery’s to a fuse box up in the front of the boat that has more room for wires. I am aware that I need to run 10 gauge wire for the power supply to the black box. My question is what size wire should I use for the power/ground coming from the battery to the fuse box? I plan on running a lowrance hds 7 gen 2, the 93sv and the livescope off that fuse box. Would 8 gauge be good enough or do I need to drop down more to 6 gauge? I would say from the battery to the fuse box will be about 12 feet..... any opinion would be great. Thanks
