LiveScope lessons wanted

Yeah mine look about the same when I try taking a picture, never looks as good as it does LIVE!
I have taken some screenshots that look better because you don't get a reflection. On my 93sv I just have to hold the home button down for a couple of seconds to get a screenshot.

I used the amber color setting at first but have found it is easier to see fish and jigs when I use the blue color scheme. I still like the look of amber best but am learning to appreciate the blue.

I agree with you 100%. It seems that overall I can see more detail with amber but fish and your bait show up allot better when using the blue pallet, espically on bright sunny days. I've gotten so I'll use amber first thing in the morning and then switch over to blue once the sun gets up higher in the sky. I can tell fish sizes better with the blue at times, gets your heart thumping when you see a fish dot turn RED because it's a bigger fish than the other in the group.

I have never tried the blue,do you change any setting when going from the amber to the blue

I usually have to adjust the gain. I turn my gain up or down as needed to get the brightest returns. Some would say I turn it up too much as my picture has lots of clutter but I'm looking for the brightest returns for fish and my bait, not necessarily the prettiest picture. I have my color gain turned up as well.

Thanks,i need to try the blue color out.The amber is hard to see on bright sunny days

Yes it is, my buddy even built us a viewing box we can look in, it really helps out in the bright sun. I'll try to take a screenshot with the amber and blue color pallets the next time I'm out for comparison.
