Thank you. I misunderstood. I thought you meant to call the local Cabelas store to order it. I had already called the local store and was told it was out of stock and could not be ordered after Overton's told me that my order from them was on back order and they did not know when I would receive it. When I read your post I checked Cabelas's website again to see if it had changed and it still stated out of stock.

In this post you stated to call the 1-800 number. I called it and gave them the item number you provided. The lady who answered looked up the item number and placed the order for me. She told me that I would receive it on Monday.

So I am doubly appreciative that you followed up your previous post and stated to call the 1-800 number. I was expecting to pay the full price for the 2019 model so you saved me $400.00. :highfive

I am looking forward to it's arrival so I can get my Live Scope system hooked up and see the beautiful results shown in all the videos of the actual use of Live Scope. :fingerdanceJumping Jacks Icon:biggrin

I ordered and received the Echomap Plus 93SV. for $599 from Overtons.

I sure hope to see that video.

Dep586 & ezgoing thanks for all the feedback, I checked with Gander this morning and they assured me that I will receive my unit, so I guess we will see sense I have already paid for it I’m going to let it ride.

By Gander are you talking about Overton's?

I certainly hope you receive it. I've ordered one from Cabelas today which I was told I would receive on Monday. I am very happy as I paid the sale price for it. Maybe I was given the wrong information when I called the Overton's Customer Service number. However I will never buy anything else from Overton's after this experience with them.

I was not that lucky, wish I had been as I would have it set up and be using it now had they delivered it as promised. Would have saved me a lot of grief and headaches searching to try and buy it elsewhere at that price.

Had she been able to provide a date when the back order would be filled I would have waited. But when she told me they had no way to determine when they would be able to fill the back order it smelled funny and her answers to my questions made it stink. I have bought a lot of pontoon supplies from them in the past without problems but I will never buy from them again after this experience. I want companies that will notify me when they place items on back order and not wait till I call in to ask why it had not been delivered on schedule to tell me they had placed the item on back order.

But I have one coming in Monday from a more reputable company so it has turned out well for me at the end.

Ezgoing I just got a text from Overton/Gander about 15 minutes ago stating that my Garmin has been shipped. So thanks to you and dep389 for your interest.

I am glad you are going to receive your unit. I don't know why they placed my unit on back order and then told me they did not know when they could fill the back order. But it doesn't really matter. I consider it highly unethical to to take your money at the time of sale and then not notify you when they find they don't have the item to send to you. It is a questionable business practice that reputable companies do not practice.

I don't deal with disreputable companies such as this and will never buy from them again. I will also continue to warn other people of this disreputable practice.

I feel your pain and totally understand and will be more aware of anything I order from this point forward and I hope you receive your order Monday.

Well I received the video from Crappie Gobbler. You can see his jigs really well 30 to 40 feet behind his transducer. I've tried and I've tried but I can seem to find any way to post the video here. It says invalid file but I can watch it on my phone without any issues. Hope someone figures out how to post it.

Maybe someone can post to Youtube and then post a link on here .... anybody Youtube?
