When the cursor is moved, the screen freezes (stops scrolling), but the data overlays continue to update.
Based on the scale on the right side of the screen, the depth of the structure is ~65 ft

The echomap plus and striker use the same transducer, and if memory serves me, the same pixel count on the screen.
As stated above, the main difference is mapping, and no micro SD card slot.
Get on Garmin site, I think the striker plus can also do quikdraw (a selfmapping feature).
I had echomap plus units, 73sv. Zero complaints. Garmin customer service is top notch. A buddy bought the units from me. Had some issues with setting up the account. He called Garmin, they got him going.
If you fish the same body of water, or know the areas you frequent, save the money and get the striker plus.

I have ran Garmin for years. I will give you a very honest opinion on echomap vs striker. I ran the 93 sv on the console and a striker unit on the bow. There was no comparison. I will say that the striker unit was one of the first they came out with. The images on the striker were not even close to the echomap. Garmin was great and even sent me a new transducer but still the same. It would probably be an OK unit for 90 percent of the fishermen but for others , it would disappoint. If you pay attention, you can catch them on sale and get a echomap for around the same price as a striker unit.
