Have helix 9 mega g2n with si/di/chirp on the front of my ss boat. Can I put a 7 g2n in the back that would share the 1 transducer just by linking the two finders together. Power plus network cable to the back ducer?

Thank you Rickie.
Now 1 last question, maybe. Will the 2nd finder be a mirror of the main or self supported just running off of the same ducer?
Can I use this, Helix 7 CHIRP Sonar/GPS Combo G2N with data overlay, which is one of the cheaper units or do I need to match all of the si,di of the main unit when purchasing?
The unit with the xducer attached processes the data ...
The other unit can display that data thru Ethernet ...
-----
Any G2N unit (Sonar, DI or SI) can share all Sonar technologies from a HELIX MEGA unit ...Including the 1200kHz MEGA frequency ...
Even the HELIX 7 G2N - which is not MEGA - can display all Sonar technologies from a MEGA unit ... including MEGA ...

Thanks again Rickie, very much appreciated!
I think all questions answered and shopping list now complete. Now to convince da'wife
Ok rickie, after much convincing, parts list complete and purchased. Nice rainy day to install. One more question. Where should I pull power for the finders, tm batteries or cranking battery?

Sorry. Not just for rickie. But I’ve seen much debate on where to pull power from.

cranking battery, too much chance of interference from trolling batteries

I agree with Louie above ... Power electronics from the starting battery (or a dedicated battery for electronics) ...
