Does anyone use this unit, just installed 2 on my boat. I have always used Lowrance new to Garmin and could use some pointers.

I have been running the 1040 gpsmap for about 4 years now. Has been a good reliable unit. I have it networked with a PS 21 and PS 30 Panoptix transducers via a GVC 10 box.
