Thread: which one?

I fish in water less than 20'.My question is : will it make any difference. Garmin DI , Lowrance DI. or Humminbird Helix 7 DI. I am sure some of the higher priced units would be better. I already have a Lowrance Elite 7 hdi, I am looking for another unit for the bow. How important is side scan?Are these units inferior to a more expensive unit? Will a Garmin be sufficient in shallow water using a CV transducer? Is the Lowrance DI a poor choice? A lot of questions , but I know the knowledge is on this board and everyone is always ready to freely make comments. ......thanks for your comments....crappie1133

Many opine that the Lowrance DI still has better DI in the entry level DI units ...

(I would infer that could possibly be comparatively argued in the upper level units) ...
