Looking for advice on uploading screenshots onto a macbook. Ive inserted the memory card from my helix for the first time. It show some of the shots i saved but it also shows some other type files on the card i cannot open. Anyone familiar with this.

I put mine in "photos". When you insert the SD card it will appear on the home screen. When you find a pic you want to save, click with 2 fingers. The options will appear, choose "add to photos". I think the DAT file is the same as the other with a corresponding number, but may not be MAC compatible.

The DAT file is only needed for the HB unit to display the thumbnail snapshot on the Chart view when the cursor is placed on the waypoint on the Chart view ...
Only the PNG file is needed for viewing the ScreenShot on PC or MAC picture viewing software ...
