1st pic: yellow (stripe) bass or crappie? Shad might be a smaller/tighter bait ball.

That's my guess. I have often seen large schools of yellow stripe in Northern Alabama.
Most importantly, you captured some great shots. They can be whatever you want them to be :ThumbsUp until you get to drop a line.
I recently changed from amber to blue on my 998c and it seems to help. Personal preference drives you to the color that you are most comfortable with.
Lastly, I sure enjoy Rnvinc's knowledge and willingness to share for our benefit. I did not notice the difference in the picture quality when "marking" until he pointed it out.
