    Default Helix 7

Do I have to make adjustments to the settings for each different view? When I put it on down scan it doesn't show much detail. If on sonar the screen blows up with stuff. Also on side scan I'm not getting enough detail. A couple weeks ago I had unit on DI and I bumped into a stump with trolling motor but it didn't show up on screen. HD transducer mounted on trolling motor(not built in)

It is not uncommon in adjusting settings for each view ...

Due to the different processing aspects of each technology being painted on the screen - each may need adjusting = Sensitivity being the most frequent in need of adjusting ...

Pallets choices should be experimented with throughout the day also ... because ambient light changes throughout the day also ...
