I called them yesterday and they said they couldn't recommend anything and to take it to a service center

I don't know the point on the control board that that the green light monitors. The control board has numerous voltages. I replaced a control board for a pal who by accident reversed power at the input of the TM cable. It stunk like he let the smoke out of the board.
I love technology til it quits, then ARG!!!!!!
Well the shop just called and said the Control board had went bad. Just wanted to let you guys know in case you ever experienced this happening

All advice given was good stuff to check.
I look at it this way: take an aspirin before you try brain surgery.
Be sure to not charge while the trolling motor is plugged in. If straight wired switch off the circuit breaker when charging. There is still power to the control board when a Terrova is stowed. A control board is around $200 so I wouldn't risk it.
