An old man needs help with Lowrance HSD 8 Gen 2

I just bought a new to me boat and it has a HSD touch 9 on the bow and a HDS 8 at the helm. I am trying to get the side imaging on the screen and don't know how to make that happen. I know it has both side and down imaging as the previous owner showed me the side imaging when we took it out. Both units are synced with each other and it has the HD Scan Box mounted under the dash. He said the side image should be done at the helm as the front graph uses the transducer mounted to the trolling motor. Hope this makes sense to someone smarter than me.

After the HU is on, press the "pages" button, then use the round button at the top to scroll left or right thru the "page" options. Look for the "structure" options, and press enter. Remember you can switch between down scan and side scan as well
