Fish finder for Minn Kota with ipilot

Looking for recommendations on a 7" or 9" reasonable priced fish finder to use with the universal sonar 2 on the Terrova.

I bought the Garmin echomap 73 sv non chirp from bass pro on sale for $499.00 I just got it hooked up yesterday and am testing it out. I do need to call MK and get some questions answered like what transducer to select and will I be able to utilize sideview with the US2.

I have the Ulterra and I have a Garmin Echomap Chirp 74 SV with the lakes card. Minn Kota US2 does not work with Chirp, downview or sideview. You can view traditional sonar. At least with your Terrova you can buy a decent transducer. My Ulterra requires the entire shaft to operate so no add on transducer on the trolling motor for me. Obviously, the excellent transducer on the transom does everything. Yes, quite a disappointment when I realized the ultimate trolling motor was not compatible with an upper end fish finder.

Well that sucks! I do have a echomap 73sc chirp at the console though. Just couldn't pass up the deal on the non chirp 73sv.

the answer is no US2 only works in 2D mode only, you can hook up sidescan to it but you'll only get 2D.

But again, you can get an excellent transducer like the GT22HW-TM and mount it on the Terrova and get all the same functions as your transom transducer.
