    My friend bought a helix 12 si kvd gen one.can he Ethernet it to a unit like 859.he wants to put a unit in the back of boat to see depth.will he have to put a transducer to the 859 or can we just run power cable and Ethernet cable.thank for any info.

    HELIX 12 G1 can Ethernet to xx9 series units to share Waypoints, Accessories, and Sonar ...

    CHIRP (2d) will have to be shut off and use fixed frequency 2d on the HELIX 12 G1 to be shared to xx9 series ...

    DI and SI on the HELIX 12 are already fixed frequency only (not CHIRP) ...
