I-Pilot Link & Helix 10 Gen. 1 Questions

A few ?? regarding I-Pilot Link on Ultera TM and Helix 10 Gen. 1. I purchased my TM over a year ago with the I-Pilot Link I am just now adding a HB locator Helix 10 that will connect to the link, I have updated the Helix to Ver.1.350 as for the I-Pilot there are different versions both for the controller and remote depending on what version of software you have. Which is either 6.600 through 6.890 or 6.900 or higher. I am not finding any unit software version # info with the serial or Model #'s. to know which update I would need; below is a Warning HB has on their website.

Before you begin you must know the following information
• Software on the Unit
• Software on the Remote
• Software on the Controller
If the customer does not have this information available you
must not proceed with software download instructions as we do
not want to risk the customer bricking his unit.


And regarding a totally different issue, as noted above I updated the Helix to the Ver.1.350 and I purchased a map card with with Smart Strike but have not found on the HB unit how to access it.

Here's a link to the Humminbird current software matrix. I just upgraded to a Ultrex Ipilot/Link model and have similar concerns. I have a Helix12 CHIRP SI Gen1 unit networked along with two legacy units (998/1198) with the Ultrex. In my case, the Helix may require ver 1.35 but not sure for your TM model. As for the controller and remote software configuration, I just received an update through the new phone App used with the newer TMs and it matches the version which is finally on MyHumminbird account but not the matrix below. I can't confirm but have to believe if you have your TM registered on Humminbird, it should have the current software for the ipilot/link or at least works that way with the FFs. In my case I was told by HB that the current software was 2.15 (controller) and 2.04 (remote) which are shown in the matrix but versions 1.19 and 1.08 are under my account? If it appears I am confused then you're absolutely right....LOL
