    Default Bow mount fish finder

I would like a bow mounted depth/fishfinder. No need for SI as transducer will be mounted on trolling motor. Looking for thoughts on Garmin striker 7, not looking to spend a fortune, but want decent.

The Garmin appears to be a fine unit for the money. If picture on the water is close to what you see on the display's. Couple of questions? What trolling motor do you have? How dependent are you on charts.

Is there another way to mount the transducer if I want to see what is below me and not at the back of the boat. Trolling motor is plain foot controlled minn kota. Not dependant on cgarts. I have a humminbird 998 on the console.

Rickie makes this for mounting a transducer on a boat.

I use one of Rickie's mounts up front no TM interference and it lets me easily switch TM's
