I stopped by an older friends house this morning to share some of the fish I caught last week. Long story short he gave me a Hummingbird 300TX, no mounting brackets, power cord, or transducer. My question to ya'll is were can I find the parts I need or would it be cheaper just to bye a new one?

Unless you can find someone with an old one laying around you would be better off buying a new one.

The transducer (XNT 9 QB 90 T) itself is in the $70 range. The power cable (Humminbird PC 10) is $20. I found no part number for the mount. So you will be at least $90 into the unit where you can buy one of the brand new PIRANHAMAX 4 unit for $99 (Cabelas) and have a color unit with all the parts and pieces, modern circuitry which works MUCH better and a warranty.
Looks like a "no-brainer" to me.
