    Default NMEA question

I have installed my MNEA in the new boat and got to thinking. The first picture is the way it is now in the boat. Checking to see if this is correct. Or should it be picture 2. The only difference is the 2 tees below the HDS 9s.

Had to turn on magnifier. Either will work since the network is center powered .

This is garmin, a real good source, and all nmea 2000 networks are arranged similar. Scroll thru this link and you can see the YESs and No NOs in backbone building.

I vote for the second picture. There's really no need to have three terminating resistors in the backbone.

You are right lowe rider. There should be only 2 terminators. I was viewing on my Iphones skinny screen using the magnifier. Shame on me. So use the 2 terminator scheme or just remove the terminator resistor from the middle T if it is assembled as such.
