A couple of weeks ago I mentioned the problems that my brother was having with one of his transducers. After discussing the problem with Bryan at BBG Marine and trying Bryan's suggestions,he still had problems. He and Bryan felt the best solution was ( try a new transducer). This solved the problem. I learned that a transducer can go bad or weaken over time and it will affect how the transducer will perform. It can go bad lots of ways and will appear to still be working. I have filed this away for future reference. I thought I would pass this along in case someone else has the same problems. Thanks for every ones input.......crappie1133
