I just got a boat and looking at putting a fish finder on it. The whole thing is going to be new to me as I have been a shore fisher up to this point. These are the 3 I have limited down to as they are at the price range I am looking to spend. The lowrance comes with Navionics Gold and the H-bird comes with navionics plus. I have pretty much limited out the garmin because of the lack of maps but not completely out of the question yet. Just looking to get some input on pros and cons of each. And which one would you buy? Open to other suggestions but not looking at exceeding the $400 mark. Also at this point in time just looking at getting a new one and staying away from used. Thanks
I don't often say this but in this case I will. Stretch your budget just a little and get this one. Then save your penny's and get the map card that covers where you want to fish. Think you would be a lot happier in the long run.
