Kosmo .... how did you mount your transducer?

I haven't yet. Mike Hagen, from http://fishing specialties . com is checking today, to see if his transducer mounting pole is big enough diameter, for the Onix receptacle. Thats one option for me, but I might just coil the transducer cable. Like I had it before. The Rhodan has more room to coil than the xi5, does.
If I decide to mount it on the trolling motor this is what it would look like. Plus, I'll buy a transducer saver to mount the transducer... http://i826.photobucket.com/albums/z...psxjc9nijp.jpg
On another note. My Rhodan still hasn't shipped. Calling about today. Enjoy ur tm kosmo!
sorry to here it's taking so long. I fished yesterday. (all day). Very bad strong swirling winds.i was casting 1/32 jig. Trolling motor did very well

So will this thing follow a track that you have set up on a HB unit? (provided they are connected)
No, it won't. What it will do, (according to the manual) is record a route, at up to speeds close to 70mph. (i don't no how accurate this would be). Any name brand unit with mapping capabilities could be used for this. Once you have your route or routes recorded you can deploy the trolling motor and it will follow the route at the speed you choose. (not the same thing as Minn Koda cruise control tho) you will have to manually adjust speed
