The Terrova ipilot with link was installed yesterday on the Ranger RT 178C. I plan to finish with the final rtv silicone project today where the transducer cable is located in the groove of the shaft on the terrova. The Helix 10 SI is located at the bow.

Now... Would anyone be able to share detailed pictures and descriptions of how to best handle the excess cabling? I'm particularly interested in where and how others have located the transducer cable at the head unit as it leaves the top of the shaft/groove on the terrova. I know that I need to make allowance for the proverbial multiple revolution of the turning of the motor when it is playing hide and go seek through the gps. Just not sure of the best way to accomadate for additional slack for this random marry-go- round ride and neatly stowing the excess cable on the terrova and the helix so it reduces the risk of the operator getting tangled in cable and going in for a swim.

Many Thanks!
