I just purchased a "Humminbird 859ci HD DI Combo KVD w/TM Transducer". I will be installing this unit on the front of the boat and plan on putting the transducer on the trolling motor. The TM transducer advertised by Humminbird does not stand for trolling motor it stands for transom mount !!! I was really surprised to say the least ! They do have a good exchange program, I thought their advertising was a little miss leading.............

I agree ... The TM moniker is HB advertising is a little misleading ...

FWIW ... All HB units come standard with transom mount xducers and hardware ...(except the portable ice units) ...

Trolling motor puck style xducers are only available thru the exchange program or thru direct purchase ...

What should I do if I need a transducer other than the transom mount included in the box of my Humminbird unit?
