lowrance 5.0 update

I updated my hds gen 2 touch and touch 9 gen 2 last week with the 5.0 update. i took boat out this weekend and everything was good except there is a lag in the scroll speed on the side scan and sonar it will stop for a second or two about every 10 seconds. has any one else saw this with their updates . I called lowrance and the guy I talked to said this is the first he has heard of it. all he offered to do was for me to send him a sd card and he would send me the 4.5 update to put back on it.
