    Default humming bird power cord

Upgrading electronics, have a old 153 up front going to move my 688 di there. Wondering can I use the same power cord or will I have to run new wire?

does it have the same plug on it as the one for the 688? if so no problem otherwise I don't know, just make sure you have a 3 amp fuse in line

It has the same looking two prong plugs. What has me wonder is I bought a hummingbird power cord to hook up indoors and it said for units after 1998 except for onix helix and all di units and si units so that's what made me we onder. Even tho it worked on my 688

You should have the PC10 cord now with a 1 amp fuse. You will need the PC11 cord with the side imaging sonar and also will need a larger fuse size I think.

Use a 3amp inline blade type fuse for any HB unit except ONIX/ION (5amp) ...

The PC 11 has the added RFI choke built into the cable ...and it's a little heavier gauge wire I think ...
