    Default Humminbird hd transducer a little play in it.


    Got my hd transducer back today the plastic part that snaps in to the metal bracket that has a long bolt in it to hold in place but the transducer has a little movement to it when snapped in.everything looks good just wondering if the play normal.

    Yes mine does that. Like 1/16 of an inch? I havent had an issue with it.

    You can dis-assemble the parts and bend in the "ears" of the metal part to give a little more tension on the bracket ...

    Do not dis-able the design as this is the "kick-up" feature that may save you from buying a new xducer someday if and when the xducer hits something in the water ...
