Helix 7 question

I got a new helix 7 si/do GPS for Christmas. Being new to the modern technology I must ask is it worth the money to exchange the transducer that came with unit for the upgraded option?

The HELIX 7 does not have the menu selection to utilize the added 800kHz frequency of the upgrade XHS 9 HDSI 180 T xducer ...

But even the 455kHz SI capability of the HELIX 7 would be "somewhat better" simply because of the longer SI piezoes in the XHS 9 HDSI 180 T vs the stock XNT 9 SI 180 T xducer ...(longer piezoes create a thinner SI beam which garners better detail) ...

Some can actually discern that better difference on the smaller screen HELIX 7 ... Some cannot ...

In my opinion, it's worth it. I just tried my HD transducer out yesterday and I'm glad I got it.
