    Default Helix 7 DI unit


    If you have a hummingbird gps from older 798 unit,hook it up to a new helix 7 DI unit will the unit have GPS,just thinking about saving around hundred dollars.and using parts I have extra.

    It is possible to connect an external GPS antenna to the HELIX 5 or HELIX 7 ... But it's not an easy "plug and play" scenario ...
