    Default Network a 798hdsi unit to a helix 9

Have a few questions. 1-can I network my 798hdsi to the helix 9di unit.if so what would I need. 2-going to put helix 9di on bow to my power drive v2 trolling motor what is the best transducer to us. 3-can I have both units on the same time or should I turn off one unit.will they still share waypoints if one units off. 4-will I get any interference with the unit hooked to power drive trollingmotor.thanks guy I know it's a lot to ask but I've never run 2 units and network units together.what to find out everything i need before I order.thank I might call Brian at bbgmarina and order from him

1 Ethernet cable long enough to reach both units ...

    2 Ethernet adapter cables ...

2-going to put helix 9di on bow to my power drive v2 trolling motor what is the best transducer to us.

    XTM 9 DI 25 T (200kHz/455kHz 2d and 455kHz/800kHz DI) ... Or
    XTM 9 WIDE DI 20 T (200kHz/83kHz 2d and 455kHz/800kHz DI)

Do not unwrap the xducer nor open the hardware Baggie to be eligible for the xducer exchange ...

There is always a chance of crosstalk interference when 2 units are transmitting the same frequency ... only actually trying them will determine if crosstalk is an issue on your boat...

will they still share waypoints if one units off.

No ... Waypoints only reside in the unit memory they were marked on ... Each unit can "see" the other's waypoints ... If that unit is powered off - the 1st unit can't "see" the waypoints marked on the other unit ...

4-will I get any interference with the unit hooked to power drive trollingmotor.thanks guy I know it's a lot to ask but I've never run 2 units and network units together.what to find out everything i need

There is always a chance of RFI intrusion if any part of the depth finder system (or its cables) are connected or close to TM power wires ... only actually trying then will determine if RFI is an issue on your boat
