Default SI transdcuer mount for front of boat.

Did I see at one time on here that one of the members made a retractable mount for something like the LSS2 that went on the front of the boat? I am changing to a stick steer and plan to run my HDS 7 2D off the I-pilot US2 transducer, but undecided about how I want to set up the SI/DI.
Right now I have in on one of the portable mounts that clamps to the transom and can be moved up or down when in stumpy waters. Problem with the LSS2 is it kicks up a 40 foot rooster tale if I try to run at any speed with it in the water.

SeaRay I have one on my boat and in my humble opinion it is the best thing since buttermilk and cornbread. Works great.

I just added a transducer bracket to the front of my Lund. I haven't taken any pics yet but it's the one mentioned in this thread.

I found the workmanship to be outstanding. It is simple and inexpensive. $65 shipped for my Garmin transducer. I highly recommend it.

That aint Rickies, If you buy that you might as well mount your ducer on a broom stick an hold it over the side.

especially when you know nothing about it. I've seen Rickies on a friend's boat. It's a great product (although a little over built and over priced for what I needed.)

I have an old MinnKota transom mount that I'm going to try.

Either one of the above mounts look great
