Default Mount xducer on new minn Kota

I have a new style minnkota that the shaft slides through the base. I want to mount a fish finder to it but don't see how without getting cord rapping around shaft. Have any of you done this? What's the best way? Do they make a cordless fish finder. I have not seen one but it would be ideal in the situation

If it has a groove n shaft there is a good post on her showing how to install n groove. I did mine on my terrova, works great.

There is no groove. Wish it was that easy. I thought about trying to zip tie the cord but the cord will still twist around shaft during use. What they need is a unit with a cordless transducer. That would be the fix all do all. However I have not found one. But with the new trolling motors there is a market for it. Not sure what I'm going to do.
