    Smile Blue Top Batteries

I have a friend who was given 2 new blue top batteries, one brand new the other about a year old. Both need charging. A fast charge is required, tell me the best way to charge each, I have a 2/10/50 amp charger.

I have 2 of the 4 batteries in my boat are blue tops and I'll be adding two more this summer, and the only problem I have with them is they are 250$ each, other than that they are great

Make sure you have the time to keep checking those batts for overcharge and be wiling to accept 90% as full. Or get something like this Schauer CM16A Charger Desulfator and get a full charge with maintenance.

I know its not multibank but I dont need multibank and not willing to pay for convenience of a waterproof marine charger when the pigtail can stay connected to the single batt. I can plug it in when home without lifting a cover. BTW if fast isnt needed, the 6 amp is only $30-40.

who would pay that much for those? lol

Whats the voltage now? if they're pretty far down run it on 10a for a few hours then step down to 2a. lessen the chance to overcharge.
