New boat where to put Down Scan unit and Side Scan unit

Put SI "unit" at console for scouting on RAM mount. SI is best suited for scouting and with outboard. Put DI at trolling motor as a tool to stay on structure.

O and RAM will allow you to turn unit around if needed.

Thanks for the responses. I am going to do like I planned, DI on the trolling motor and SI console at the helm.
rnvinc I'm sure there is a way to be able put another mount to take the SI Console to the front if desired. I just don't know how to do it.

My bad. read it wrong. Got it at the helm. LOL

It would probably require the purchase of another power/transducer cord & a mounting bracket to put the head unit up front & read the SI signal from there ... unless there's a connector cord that you could plug into the back of your unit & connect to the power/tdx cord at the helm (but in that case you'd be seeing what's "behind" you, since that transducer would be back on the stern).

To set up a second station for the 598ci HD Si unit Imbr, it would take a new transducer, power cable and unit mount:
XTM-9-Si-180-T trolling motor mounted Compact Side Imaging transducer.
PC-11 Filtered Power Cable.
MS-M Quick Disconnect Mount.
