Default New MK UL. Transd. mount for DI

Just wondering how an external transducer might get added to an Ulterra considering there is not a channel arson Terrova shaft. I see guys on the vids with bow mount sonars and an Ulterra and I don't think they are just running 2D through the US 2 and pulling the rest from the transom - maybe I'm wrong.

Is an external ducker even going to allow for the power trim to be used? Would you have t have a cord flopping around not attached to the shaft?

Since I switched to the Onix I have been running the all in one transducer on the trolling motor by routing the cable like this. Once I get the Ulterra I will start with the same concept and see if it will work. I ran my Terrova like this for about a year with not a single snag.

That's a great idea.. What kind of parts did you use for the spiral cable? Looks like air hose on the bottom of the shaft and hose covers on top I use to trick out my 350 Chevy back in the day.

Rickie makes a transducer stick (da ducer) that I use. If you don't have room, buy a micro power pole and use it to lower/raise transducer. I have thought about this myself.

Here's another way to do it.Its just like diels, but I coiled the transducer cable farther up and fasten it to my slide bracket so it would be easy to unhook the transducer cable from the back of the sonar unit and remove the trolling motor.
