Default 5 port Ethernet 2 units and I link ?

Ok so I have a 1199 up on front deck. I have a 999 I'm putting at the console. The i link for the Terrova is already connected to the 1199. I have the 5 port Ethernet hub , I have 2 Ethernet cables and 2 pigtail adaptor cables. The question is Do I need another ethernet cable for the link to run back to the ethernet hub ? I'm sure I do but wanted to hear from you guys that already have a similar set up . Thanks in advance. Brian from BBG is on vacation or I would have just called him .

Yes you do but there should have been one that came with the i-Pilot Link.

it did but it's not long enough to make it to the hub and still have slack when the TM rotates. I picked up a ten footer today wish they came in a 3 foot length , that's all anyone needs to go from outside the console to under the dash. Just saying Thanks Greg

That should have been a 30-foot cable that came with your i-Pilot Link according to the manual. I didn’t think anyone would need more than that on most boats.

Yeah, they come in 2, 10, 15, 20 and 30-foot lengths but not three footers.
