Yea i have not logged into my humminbird account yet to look at it but i did recieve a email today about it being available

It is available for my 1198. On my 959 it still says 7.46.

Yes it should be available for the 1198, I downloaded it last night for a 1198 and 898HD.

Not all models have the same numerical software release number but they could have the same updates (if their model can use them). Look at the release notes for both of your units and see if they are comparable or not.
