    Default Humminbird / I-Pilot Link

I am going to upgrade my trolling motor and currently have a Humminbird 598 HD si unit, which doesn't support the i-pilot Link. Is there any way to update the 598 to support the Link or do I sell what I have and get in to a unit that supports the Link? Or do I just go with the standard i-Pilot?

Are there any benifits of the i-Pilot link if my Humminbird doesn't support it?

iPilot link allows your HB unit to talk to the TM ...so that commands from the HB can be carried out by the TM ...

The 598 cannot be connected to the Terrova in any way so iPilot Link has no value ...

IPilot (no Link) controls the TM from the IPilot remote without commands from the HB ...
