garmin echomap 43 dv

I am in the market for a fish finder. Recently got a Jon boat that it will be going on. I am wanting to mount it on my trolling motor. I have never tried that before. I have not used one in years. I do not want to spend more than about $350 for one and am considering the garmin echo map 43 dv. I would like to hear your thoughts on this unit or a recommendation that is in my price range. Thanks.
