Ok, probably something answered time and time again so I apologize ahead of time if the case.

I am trying to determine the value in replacing a transducer. In doing so, I just now realize there may be two transducers available: XNT 9 SI 180T and the XHS 9 HDSI 180 T. I have never really seen "Sharp" images (even after adjusting settings) from my current transducer, XNT. Will the XHS work with the 598? If so, will the DI and SI be noticeably sharper? From my understanding the 598 only has DI and SI coverage in 455 khz range. So, it is possible the XHS transducer may not provide much advantage in my case. Just wondering if I might be able to see some crisper images.
