You can replace your slanted transducer, with one of the humminbird di transducers. The piezo in your hdsi, slanted transducer is longer though.(you'll get 2d,along with di)

There are several scenarios to get the 2d data ... just keep in mind the 2d needs to be pointing down to get accurate 2d data ... So the 2d needs to come from a different xducer than the slanted HDSI ...(a slanted 2d piezo will give inaccurate digital depth) ...

This can be accomplished with the AS SIDB Y cable to the xducer used for 2d ... Or with the HB TS3 switch to the xducer used for 2d ...or a combination of both ...

As kosmo mentions ...the idea behind the slanted HDSI was to incorporate the longer SI piezo of the HDSI (because a longer piezo creates a thinner slice beam) ...

Any of the HB dedicated DI xducers makes a simpler Setup because the 2d can come from the same DI xducer without the need of a Y cable or TS3 switch (but the shorter piezo in the dedicated DI xducers do not have as thin a slice beam) ...

Are you using a 2d xducer with the AS SIDB Y cable on the slanted HDSI ...??
