    Bought it a few months ago finally got put in my boat worked good first time I turned in on now it will not come on. Ishow to have power where it hook into the unit ,any ldeals

    Remove the unit from the base and re-seat it again ...

    It could be a loose connection in the base ...

    the plug had slipped in the mount so it wasn't plugging in all the way

    no luck,
    Make sure that you are using both the plastic and metal pieces to hold the connectors in place in the base. Otherwise, they can move and cause this and other problems. When properly assembled, the connectors should not be able to move within the base.

    Glad you got it going...I bet you didn't use that medal plate, that came with the unit.It is a pain to get it and that plactic thingy and your wires, all to go together at the same time.
