Does anyone know if a elite 5 hdi transducer cable will work ran up through the shaft on my terrova in that grove that is on it will it go in there around the collar and not be to tight i am thinking about getting a ff for the front . thanks for any help

I tried a Elite 5 2d on my Terrova a couple yrs ago, and the TD cable was just a hair too thick in diameter to work going thru the drive box. I ended up with a HB 798 and the TD cable is siliconed into the recessed slot on the shaft and it works great. I haven't tried changing it out since.

Don't know if anything has changed on the Lowrance units, but I believe the cables would not fit in the groove. HB's will fit, but I'm sure some of the Low users have figured out good ways to get that cable on without too much trouble

Iwould like to see it if you find it i want to put another lowarance up front but from what iam hereing the cable is to big to go thru the collar and the shaft will not slide THANKS

I tried using some rubber gas line with the Elite 5 but it was a messy install, flopped around, in the way, and just bothered me. I was afraid it would hang on something and tear stuff up, so I went with a HB.
