Personally speaking .... I wouldn't pay for videos until I had exhausted all other avenues of "free" video instructions (ie - youtube) AND until I had discussed it here, with members that have experience with that particular unit. As evidenced by the 83 pages of discussion on my thread about the Lowrance Elite 5DSI/Chartplotter unit ... you can get a lot of good info & explanations right here on this site/forum.

It would also help if we knew exactly which Lowrance unit you have, and what "instructions" you're looking to find.

I understand your plight. My Elite 5DSI came with "instructions" ... but most of that was how to mount it .... I had to go to the Lowrance website and download the "manual". The manual told me what and where all the features were, but really didn't tell me how to "use" the unit. I played with it a time or two, then posted my thread for help. And I got plenty of help, as evidenced by the 83pg long discussion. And the only reason it's not longer than that is because Lowrance discontinued the unit in favor of the Elite 5 HDI series ... which is basically a Elite 5DSI with 2d sonar added.

Don't worry about getting "wordy" over trying to understand the workings of your unit. That's what this forum is for You just tell us what unit it is, and any questions you have about it & there'll be members that will jump in and try and help you solve your problems.
