The 798 and Onix process navigation data differently. I don't know how old your chip is but it might not hurt to contact Lakemaster and give them the card serial number. The engineer yesterday said they had seen a good number of these cards causing problems.
I took my onix10 out on the water yesterday to give it a run through.
Things went very well.the speed of the unit, using the touch functions has increased dramatically. The unit might be a little to fast for me now. (I'm not complaining).I've got one issue that I'm going to have to talk to hummingbird about.its nothing major, but does need to be fixed.im not sure if it's software or hardware yet, but like I said the unit performed really good.Heres a video of the 360 running with the sun facing the unit.you can see the difference were my shadow is and we're the suns shining on the unit.to me , I don't have issues seeing the screen but some have questions about it , so I thought I'd let everyone see for there selvesOnix10/360 running software v.2:00: Onix10/360 running software v.2:00 - YouTube
I am planning on upgrading my Onix to version 2.00 this weekend. I talked with Humminbird in regards to the POI issue on the LakeMasters Mid South V2 and they asked me to upgrade to 2.00 since they think it may take care of my issue, they said they have heard of this issue with others. I also noticed in the fix list some issues I kept running into. I am glad HB is addressing these issues with updates.
Here's a quick comparison video between the Onix and the NSS9 Evo2. The John I a referring to is Fishton.

For those that are hesitant about running the update I will be uploading a video showing the entire process. The video is 36 minutes long so it may take all night to upload. I also have a video on how to update the Ipilot Link that I will upload. I will post the links when they go live.
One "cavet" in the update process that some may need to know before the video gets uploaded. Once the update was done and the unit went into "reboot" mode it took a full 4-5 minutes before the "reboot" process completed and the "confirm" screen popped up. I was getting just a touch anxious at that point.
The interface is much faster. I will have to hit the lake a few times to see if other issues were fixed. I will post as I test out some of the feature that were troublesome before.
I did get mine updated, it took 25 minutes from start to finish. The interface is much faster, and I also noticed the electronic manual loaded real quick also.
After the 2:00 update , I ran this three way screen...Onix10/360 running software v.2:00: Onix10/360 running software v.2:00: Onix10/360 running software v.2:00 - YouTube tried to make a favorite view, with 360, si, and di view, but 360 was grayed out.i have not tried a four way view yet.
