anyone have hands on a 1159ci HD DI Combo

I just wanted to ask how good the Di images have got from the dedicated DI transducer

I have the 959, I had the 958 before. Had to upgrade for the 360 to work. The 959 is a little snappier on response, not sure if the added more memory or a faster processor. Another thing is the sensitivity is much better. My 958 I ran on 18-20 sensitivity. The 959 I have been running 8-12. I think it is a software thing. The DI machines have always given me great images.
This was my 4th day using the 959, 360 and I am testing the DaDucer Aparatus from RNVINC, it rocks!

I'm kicking the idea around of adding the 1159 DI and the 360 transom mount to my boat

and was just wondering if the DI was better than on my 1198

Short Grub, I have ran a 958 and 1198 for 3 years or so. I do think the Dedicated DI has a better picture on the day to day average.
Here is a couple off of the 958, I would have gone for the 1159 but my penny pinching ways told me to stay with the size I already had. Also it fit better in the constraints of my boat layout. You can watch your jigs on the DI once you get used to it and are paying attention.
You may want to consider the DaDucer apparatus from Rickie if you are looking at the bow mount. PM me if you haven't decided on the bow or transom, I think I may have some information that you should consider.
