I have a 525 mounted on my trolling motor and it worked fine until about a month ago. I have lost my water temp display. Anyone have an idea as to what would cause this and what I can do to fix the problem?

+1 to what midcarolina posted. When you figure out which it is (transducer or unit) call the Humminbird Customer Service folks to set-up getting it fixed. 1-800-633-1468 Most likely its the transducer but test to be sure. The other unit you test with does not have to be another 525 as most of the units we produce use transducers that have a built-in temp probe. Note: you can test this with the boat on the trailer.
