Yes, the heading sensor is what's made a big difference. Before, no one could look at there nav. And tell which way they were moving while at very low speeds.the next thing that I would like, would be for hummingbird to add chirp to 360.

A smarter program woulda fixed most of the problem. Successive approximations they call it.

Since HB shut down inputs at .5 mph and refreshed position on once per second, A KVH would not help much. Besides, the 997 should have worked at a cost of 2Gs. Beside this, my (and others) complaints finally paid off.
