Have you tried just running the unit with no map card to see if it will mark way points and function as it should? When they indicated that it was something to do with the cartography, to me, that would indicate a map card problem.

RCC, I think that would be a good idea. Just remove optional card and use "on board" UniMap and see it everything works properly. rdjj

I have version 4.3.8 on my pc and it fixed my 597 ci hd di. I can now see depths at speeds up to 14 mph and the down image looks great. Must confess I am still learning how to use the unit.
