    Default Mounting fish finder

Hey guys I have a 2013 lowe stinger 175 and i have a humminbird 859. Is the fiberglass console strong enough to support that big of a fish finder? Also if any one has this boat with the bigger fish finders could y'all post pictures just to give me ideas? Thanks in advance for any help

I don't have a picture, but I mounted a 7" Lowrance on a Ram mount on a Tracker PT 175. The Ram mount is great, it lifts the unit away from the console so there is not any interference, and you can turn it in any direction while fishing. I can't imagine the Lowe console being any weaker than a Tracker console, and mine rides just fine on the mount.

I have the 1.5" ball mount that's about 7" long. If you have the room, you could add a piece of plywood backer or a metal one.

Here's mine, she rides down the road and the lake and doesn't move.

Personally, I would use the 2.25" mount for your unit. I had the 1.5" on my 998 and switched over to the 2.25". I like (and need) that extra sturdiness.

I'm documenting my Lowe, including FF on console... i put fender washers on backside of mount.

Pulled all the decals off today... really looks good in solid color!

I'd go with the bigger Ram mount myself. Shouldn't have any issues mounting it.
